Terms of Service

The rules, in plain English.

When you apply for or pay for a BuildSolo workshop, you agree to these terms. We have written them the way we wish other companies wrote theirs. Clear about what you get, clear about what we ask of you, clear about what happens when things go sideways.

Effective from YOUR-EFFECTIVE-DATE

01. Who we are

BuildSolo is operated by YOUR-COMPANY-LEGAL-NAME, registered in India at YOUR-COMPANY-ADDRESS. These terms apply to the BuildSolo website and to every workshop we run, unless we tell you otherwise in writing.

02. What the workshop is

BuildSolo is a live online workshop that teaches you to build your own website, set up your Google profile and social handles, and run your own first Google ad campaign, using AI tools. The current format is three weeks of two live sessions per weekend, totalling 18 hours of live time, plus self-paced building between sessions, WhatsApp support for four weeks (the workshop and one week after), and lifetime access to the BuildSolo Community.

We may adjust the format, the schedule, the instructor, the platforms used, or the specific tools taught, as the technology and the needs of our participants evolve. We will not make changes that materially reduce what you are paying for without offering you a refund or a rollover to a different batch.

03. Fees and payment

The current workshop fee is ₹9,999, all inclusive. This covers your live workshop seat, the BuildSolo Playbook (course content, prompts, templates, and checklists), WhatsApp support for four weeks, session recordings delivered after the workshop, and lifetime access to the BuildSolo Community.

Payment is made in full at the time of confirming your seat. We do not currently offer instalments. We may run promotional pricing or early-bird offers from time to time. The price you paid is the price you are bound to, regardless of any later changes.

Workshop fees include all applicable Indian taxes unless a tax invoice tells you otherwise.

04. Refunds and rollovers

The short version

The fee is non-refundable once paid. You get one emergency rollover to the next batch.

The long version. We are a small workshop with a fixed number of seats per batch. When you confirm your seat, we hold it for you and turn others away. That is why we do not offer refunds once payment is made.

If a genuine emergency stops you from attending a single session of your batch, write to us before the workshop ends. We will try to move you to the next available batch, subject to seats being free. This is a one-time accommodation. If you miss the next batch as well, the seat is forfeited and the fee is not refundable.

Whether or not you attend the live sessions, your access to the BuildSolo Playbook, the session recordings, and the BuildSolo Community stays with you.

If we cancel a batch outright for our own reasons, you get a full refund or the option to roll over to a future batch. Your choice.

05. What you need on your side

To get value from the workshop, you need to bring:

We do not include these third-party costs in our fee, and we have no commercial relationship with the companies we recommend.

06. What we promise

We promise to:

07. What we do not promise

We do not promise that you will get specific business results from the workshop. We can teach you how to build a website, set up your profile, and launch an ad campaign. We cannot promise that customers will arrive, that your business will grow, or that you will earn back the workshop fee from new leads. Those depend on your product, your market, your effort, and a hundred other things outside our control.

We do not promise that the third-party tools we teach (Claude, Vercel, Google) will always be available, will always work as they do today, or will always be priced the way they are today. Those companies make their own decisions. We will adapt the workshop as they evolve.

We do not promise that AI-generated content is always accurate. AI tools make mistakes. Part of what we teach is how to catch and correct them, but the final responsibility for what goes on your website and into your ads is yours.

08. Your work and your content

What you build during the workshop is yours. Your website, your domain, your ad accounts, your copy, the prompts you write, the content you generate. We claim no ownership of any of it. We may, with your permission, show your work as an example in future workshops or marketing.

You are responsible for making sure your content is legal and original. Do not use the workshop or our tools to build anything that infringes copyright, defames anyone, sells anything illegal, or causes harm.

09. Our content and IP

The BuildSolo Playbook, session recordings, the BuildSolo brand, this website, and every other piece of content we create are owned by us and protected by Indian and international copyright law.

When you pay the workshop fee, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime licence to use these materials for your own work. You can apply what you learn to your own business and to any number of your own client projects. You cannot:

Breaking this licence ends your access to all workshop materials and the BuildSolo Community, with no refund.

10. Conduct in the community

The BuildSolo Community is a working room of self-built founders. To keep it useful for everyone, you agree to:

We reserve the right to remove anyone whose behaviour repeatedly works against this, with no refund.

11. Termination

You can stop using the website and the community at any time. Email us and we will close your access.

We can end your access to the workshop or the community if you break these terms, especially the IP licence in section 09 or the conduct rules in section 10. In serious cases this is immediate and without a refund. In less serious cases we will tell you what is wrong and give you a chance to fix it.

12. Limitation of liability

We work hard to make the workshop useful and the site reliable. We cannot promise either is perfect. To the maximum extent allowed by Indian law:

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the workshop changes, when the law changes, or when we learn something that needs adding. The "effective from" date at the top tells you when the current version started. Material changes affecting existing participants will be communicated by email. Continuing to use the workshop or the community after a change means you accept the new terms.

14. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that cannot be settled by talking it out will be decided by the courts in YOUR-COMPANY-ADDRESS. We will always try to resolve issues directly with you first, by email, before anything escalates.
